CCI team calls on FC Housing & Urban Dev Deptt

JAMMU, Jan 30: Arun Gupta, President Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCI), Jammu along with new team of office bearers namely Anil Gupta, Sr. Vice President, Rajeev Gupta, Jr. Vice President, Gaurav Gupta, Secretary General, Rajesh Gupta, Secretary and Rajesh Gupta, Treasurer called on Dheeraj Gupta, Financial Commissioner Housing and Urban Development Department and discussed various issues with him.
Arun Gupta informed the FC Housing and Urban Development that the occupants of shops in Mini Shopping Center Rail Head Complex had applied for transfer of shops in their names and execution of lease deeds after depositing requisite fee for the same with JDA. He further said that despite various representations made by them to the concerned authorities, JDA has not taken up the matter seriously thus depriving the said occupants of the lease deeds to be executed.
Arun Gupta also informed the FC Housing and Urban Development department that the conditions of the roads and drains etc in Transport Nagar Narwal area is in bad shape. The roads are broken, main holes are open and drainage system is absolutely not working and no sanitization facilities is available. Arun Gupta also said that the present occupants of shops at Warehouse Jammu shall be allowed to construct first floor over their shops to engaged their children in business because no shops are available for the said purpose.
Arun Gupta also informed the FC Housing that as per the lease deeds/rent deeds made by JDA with the occupants of the shops /halls at Bahu Plaza there should be a rise of 10% of rent after every 3 years, but practically on ground things are not clear.
Dheeraj Gupta, FC Housing and Urban Development Department gave patient hearing and assured the Chamber team that all the issues taken up in the meeting shall be addressed shortly.
