| Lagan Society for Art, Culture organizes 2nd Basant Utsav | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 16: Lagan Society for Art and Culture organized 2nd Basant Utsav, a Bhajan Sandhya in connection with Basant Panchami today at Doordarshan lane, Tali Morh, Janipur, Jammu. The Bhajan Sandhya was inaugurated with the lightning of traditional lamp by the dignitaries followed by welcome address by vice president of the Society Sonia Verma. Later the function was started with Saraswati Vandana by the students of the institution. Various bhajans were performed by the talented students of Lagan Society for Art and Culture which was highly appreciated by the audience as well as the guests of the function.
Advocate Sandeep Gupta (Patron of the Society) appreciated the efforts of the Society and also said these types of functions helps to encourage the youngsters and also helps to promote the rich cultural heritage of the region. The students who performed in the function were Jyotsna Dogra, Lagan Verma, Gourav Sharma, Sunil Sharma, Aqib, Vishal Sharma, Amit Anand was on Tabla, Sumit Sharma was on Guitar, Rajesh Verma was on Harmonium. The proceedings of the function was anchored by Rohit Bains. |
