2/17/2021 11:33:07 PM
Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Feb 17: A number of government officials in Rajouri district are yet not adhering to the guidelines of work culture and civil services rules and are leaving station on unsanctioned leaves with concerned officers also allowing them to leave staff without prior sanction of leave.
The fresh case that came to fore is of Integrated Child Development Scheme in Kotranka block wherein a Junior Assistant ranked official left his office for three days without any sanctioned leave. The official kept a leave application in office requesting leave from 17 February to 19 February but leave was not sanctioned by the competent authority who is CDPO Kotranka, official sources said.
They said that not only the official left the station but the officer concerned not bothered to keep a check over this move. Official sources said that many officials in the area including the one present one follow this practice of leaving station without getting their leaves sanctioned. The Child Development Planning Officer Kotranka when contacted said that he decided to sanction his leave over phone call.
"He is already under question and his salary is withheld," CDPO replied but failed to give proper reply of condition in which an official under his control left station without getting the leave sanctioned.
