American Oncology Institute Jammu launches NYLA for early detection of cancer

Jammu, Mar 8: American Oncology Institute at ASCOMS Hospital, Sidhra, Jammu organized an event to celebrate International Women’s Day 2021 and launch of AOI’s flagship Program ‘NYLA’ aimed at early detection and treatment of cancers in women. The event was attended by the cancer survivors and women high achievers of Jammu region as dignitaries for International Women’s Day.
Under the campaign of NYLA launched by AOI Jammu today, a lot of privileges like free consultation with Oncologists, highly discounted female Cancer surgery packages and discounts on Chemotherapy and Radiation treatment packages have been provided to all the women from all the walks of the society for the complete month of March.
The event was inaugurated by Babila Rakwal, Shashi Sudhan, Neeru Batra, Ravinder Madaan, Surbhi Kudyar and other women high-achievers of Jammu.
On this occasion Pavan Malhotra, Director Principal, ASCOMS hospital said that women are the most resilient in their determination and if they decide in their heart, then they can achieve any goal in life. D.K. Batra said that women play an important role in the society and it is important that women are given the freedom and support to choose their life paths.
At the event today, Ravinder Madaan was awarded the “Lifetime Achievement Award” in the field of medicine for exemplary service to the society and field of medical sciences.
Babila Rakwal, Vice Chairman, JDA speaking at the event said that not just working women, but also the homemakers need to be celebrated on this International Women’s Day and as per the theme of this year’s Women’s Day, #ChooseToChallengeCancer, she fully endorses the NYLA event’s theme which aims at the collective responsibility as a society where “We All Can” come together in this fight against Women’s Cancer.
