| JKBOSE Results 2020: Girls top Board, record 80% pass percentage | | |

Srinagar, Mar 8: Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education has declared JKBOSE Class 12 Result 2020 for the Kashmir division today, March 8, 2021. The overall pass percentage of regular students is 80 percent and the pass percentage of girls is 83 percent and boys are 78 percent. This year all the toppers of science, commerce, and arts stream are girls. The pass percentage of girls is also five points higher than boys this year. Out of 178 total toppers across all streams this year, 141 are girl candidates. Check Result Here
As per the data released by the JKBOSE officials, a total of 46,987 of the 58,397 candidates have passed the annual regular examination in Kashmir. A total of 30,960 boys and 27,437 girls appeared in the examination out of which 24, 291, and 22,696 passed respectively.
Not only this, but this year toppers are also girls. A total of 19 students shared the top three positions in Science stream out of which only four are boys. For the Commerce stream, five girls have shared the first three positions. For Arts and Home Science streams, all the top slots have been secured by three girls. The examination was conducted in November and was held in 626 exam centers across the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The Board had changed the exam pattern due to the pandemic.
