| GLDM Degree College Hiranagar launches course in Computer concepts | | |

KATHUA, Mar 19: GLDM Degree College Hiranagar inaugurated “Course In Computer Concepts" in collaboration with National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Jammu under the initiative of Industrial Skills By The Govt.
Prof Kuldeep Singh Koushal Principal of the college was the Chief Guest on the occassion. While interacting with the students Prof. Koushal deliberated on the benefits of these skill programmes in different fields. He further added such courses being part of NEP 2020 and will provide an edge to get jobs and in starting own start ups a step toward making Job creators instead of job seekers. He appriciated the initiative of Govt to trained student and sharpen their skills through these course so that after completican of the studies a student have skills in different fields. He added that this course is fully sponsored by the Higher Education Deptt and provide training free of cost and after successful completion of the course student will be provided with a certificate that can be an extra or additional qualification to his basic qualification. Prof Sujat Khan Coordinator of the Skill Development course thanks Principal for showing confidence and giving responsibility to coordinate the Course. Prof. Khan Thanks the principal for his valuable words which will definitely motivate the students for their successful completion of the course. Others who were present on the occasion were Prof. Rakesh Sharma, Dr Sukhdeep Singh and Karun Khajuria instructor of the course.
