| Dy Mayor conducts meeting of Engineering Wing of JMC | | |

JAMMU, Mar 19: Deputy Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) held meeting with the officials of Engineering Wing of Zone-1 & 3 of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
During the meeting, Deputy Mayor Purnima Sharma, took detailed review of all the developmental works of the wards under the Division No 1 and 3 of JMC. During the meeting, details of various works including the total amount spent on developmental works in wards, Construction of ward offices, Construction and installation of water coolers and any issues related to the developmental works were discussed. It was brought to the notice of the Deputy Mayor that an amount of 125+ lakhs has been done is many wards under the financial year 2020-2021. Also it was noted that in many wards water coolers have been installed, ward offices have been constructed and some developmental works are under progress and some are in tendering process.
Purnima Sharma directed the officials of engineering division 1 and 3 to take review of all the ongoing works and their current state and report back along with a written report within a week’s time. Executive Engineers, Assistant Executive Engineers, Junior Engineers of the Engineering Division 1 and 3 of JMC present during the meeting ensured the Deputy Mayor that they will prepare the detailed written report and will hand over it within a week’s time.
