3rd edition of Kailakh Sandesh Panchang calendar released

JAMMU, Mar 21: 3rd Edition of “Kailakh Sandesh Panchang Calendar” was released in a well-attended programme organized by Shri Kailakh Jyotish evam Vedic Sansthan Trust at Central Sanskrit University, Shri Ranbir campus, Kot Bhalwal, today. The calendar has been brought out by Mahant Rohit Shastri, President, Shri Kailakh Jyotish evam Vedic Sansthan Trust Raipur Thather, Jammu, J&K. A number of dignitaries were also honoured on this occasion for their remarkable contribution to society and promotion of Sanskrit and Vedic culture. The function was presided over by former minister and senior BJP leader Sham Lal Sharma who was the chief guest. Dr. J.P. Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST), Jammu, was Chief Patron. Former DGP Dr. S. P. Vaid presided over the function. The function was also graced by former MLC, Vibodh Gupta (Guest of honour), former Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu, Professor R D Sharma (Saraswat Atithi), and Senior BJP leader, Anil Gupta (Special Guest). Prof. Madan Mohan Jha, Director, Central Sanskrit University, Shri Ranbir campus, Jammu was the main speaker on the occasion.
On the occasion, Chief Guest, former Minister & State BJP Vice President, Sham Lal Sharma said that Panchang is an astrological diary which gives useful astrological information required by an astrologer. Sham Lal said that Mahant Rohit Shastri was an icon for the youth and through his work he is uniting the society and promoting our culture.
Mahant Rohit Shastri said that the Panchang Calendar will be distributed free of cost. He also appealed people to remain united and to work for the preservation of their culture and their moral values. On the occasion, Dr. Vishav Gupta, Dr. Sanjay Sharma, Dr. Vinod Khajuria, Dr Neelam Khajuria, Dr.Bharat Bushan, Dr. Ashish Khajuria, Dr. Shubh Kumar, Dr. Rajesh Sharma, Dr. Aman Sharma, Dr Sanjeev Padha, Dr. Kishor, Dr. Harsh Dev Singh, Vinod Sharma, Narottam Sharma, Chander Shekher Sharma, Lalit Khajuria, Sunny Dua, Rajan Sharma, Ashish Gupta, Pandit Raman Shastri and Ravinder Singh Patyal were also honoured for their remarkable contribution to the society and promotion of our culture.
