| Ram Madhav returns to RSS raises many questions ! | | | Early Times Report
jammu, Mar 21: The RSS on Saturday rehabilitated BJP leader Ram Madhav, who was instrumental in the formation of government with PDP in J&K, by appointing him to its central executive council.
Madhav returned to RSS has raised many questions because he was handling sensitive Union Territory (UT) of J&K which was a state before August 5, 2019.
Within days after he was deputed to BJP by the RSS, Ram Madhav was assigned the job of handling erstwhile J&K state. Just before 2014 Assembly elections in J&K, he started work and played very important role in re-stitching alliance with PDP especially after demise of late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
Wishing anonymity a BJP leader said that it was all due to 'mishandling' of a sensitive state like J&K that his political career was ended 'unceremoniously' as he is back in the RSS.
It is a homecoming for Madhav, who began his career in the RSS; he has now been appointed as the Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini Sadasya, a role that will require him to initiate meetings with think-tanks, be in touch with thinkers, writers and intelligensia to promote the initiatives of the organisation.
Madhav's appointment was among the changes that the RSS made in its organisational set-up during the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha's (ABPS) annual meeting held in Bengaluru Saturday. The sabha is the RSS's top decision-making body.
After joining BJP, Ram Madhav was on rise in the party and he was assigned very important jobs by the top leaders but after 2018 party has started sidelining him. The final straw came in September 2020, when the BJP removed him as national general secretary as well as from the post of incharge J&K. |
