| DDC Chairman Doda assures villagers of resolving issues | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
BHADERWAH, Mar 21: District Development Council Doda Chairman , Dhanantar Singh Kotwal today visited Bheja and Sherakhi villages of Bhaderwah constituency where people gave him rousing reception and he interacted with people to listen to their grievances. Villagers told him about their problems and demanded solutions. Most of their queries were related to the rural development department and other snail pace projects of various departments .
The DDC Chairman assured the villagers of taking appropriate action to resolve all pending issues . Over the delay in , Sidhu reiterated that the villagers should not be made dependent upon the panchayats to obtain pensions. He asked the people to encourage their children, especially the youngsters, to divert their attention towards skilled education for which the government was providing all facilities .
Over the lack of clean drinking water and unscheduled power cuts , Kotwal said efforts were being made by the government to provide potable water to every household and soon this basic facility would be within the reach of the poor.He also inspected fish pond of fishers department at Bheja and urged upon the people to construct such types of ponds for self employment and also assured that soon link road will be constructed from Bheja via Sherakhi to Thanalla .
