BJP to celebrate foundation day on every booth: Raina

JAMMU, Mar 25: Bharatiya Janata Party will celebrate its foundation day on every booth across the region. On this day, senior leaders will attach the name plate with booth descriptions on the gate of Booth Presidents while unfurling the party flags at their rooftops, said Ravinder Raina, J&K BJP State President at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Ravinder Raina was also accompanied by former State President Sat Sharma (former Minister), party General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, Vice-President Yudhvir Sethi, senior leader Harinder Gupta, Vikram Randhawa(former MLC), Pramod Kapahi (JMC Councilor) and other senior leaders while party leaders initiated the process to distribute name plates and party flags to District Presidents for further distribution.
Ravinder Raina, while speaking on the occasion, said that the party has been established as a result of strong ethics and principles lay down by the likes of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay ji, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookherjee, Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Advani ji. He said that it came into inception in the present avatar on 6th of April 1980 and today with the sweat and blood of ground activists of the organization, it has reached the landmark of being the biggest political party. So, in order to give respect to those ground warriors, the party is initiating the mission to install the name plates with the with booth descriptions on the gate of Booth Presidents while the party flag will also be unfurled at their rooftops by senior leaders of party.
Ashok Kaul said that while the process denotes as a mark of respect for their dedication, this will also give the recognition making them more accessible for public welfare. He said that with every passing day our party is transforming the lives of individuals whether directly or indirectly and this year we will pledge to take this mission forward with more aggression.
