KISHTWAR, Mar 25: In its endeavour to guide students, particularly girls about various career options, District Administration Kishtwar, under the overall supervision of Deputy Commission, Ashok Sharma today organised a career counselling session here under the aegis of flagship 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' Scheme.
During the session, the experts from the fields like Medical, Engineering, Civil Services, Law, Banking, Army, Police, education etc imparted awareness to the participants about the various career options in their fields.
The guest speakers included professor Faisal Mushtaq; BDO Drabshalla, Sobia Fatima Shaad; Advocate Anjali; Dr Shivani; Ravi Kumar Sharma; Cluster Head JK Bank; Major Abhinav Iyer; Engineer Ishtiaq Ahmed Shiekh; SI Ankesh Kumar and Pankaj Kalotra.
While speaking on the occasion, the DC Kishtwar highlighted the various possible career opportunities available across the globe besides underscored the need of conducting more such programmes in the district to benefit the educated youth.
A question answer session was also held on the occasion in which experts answered to the queries of the students.
Meanwhile, immunity booster were also distributed among the participants. They were also made aware regarding the precautionary measures against COVID19.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohd Hanief Malik; Additional Deputy Commissioner Pawan Parihar; Assistant Labour Commissioner, Anoop Kumar; CMO, Dr R S Manhas; Dy.
