Training programme under 'Manodarpan' concludes at Commerce College

JAMMU, Mar 25: Govt. SPMR College of Commerce, Jammu organized a valedictory function of 60 days online training programme under 'Manodarpan', an initiative of Ministry of Labour and Employment in collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) AA, for the pass-out students of various colleges of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh division,
The Director Colleges, Prof Peerzada Mohd Yousuf was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he congratulated the principal of the college for taking initiative in organising the online training programme for enhancing the employability skills of the pass-out students of the UTs of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. He further appraised the students with his personal experience that would help them to gain confidence by regular practice of the skills required for the jobs they are aiming at. He further encouraged the college faculty to keep on focusing on such training and skill programmes as this is the future roadmap for the students.
Prof. R.S. Jamwal, the Principal of college highlighted the significance of this training to the students in securing jobs. He also appreciated the efforts of the Manodarpan-Psychological and Career Counselling Cell of the college for taking a great measure for organizing an online training programme. Prof. ArchanaKaul (Convenor) threw light on the 60 days journey of the students so far. The participants also shared their views and learning experiences during the programme. The report was read by Muskan, Vanshika, Rahul, Neha and Manvi.
The TCS Group comprising of Sunil Brari, Anant Katyani, Pancy, Rahul, Dushyant and Ajaypal Singh all joined in the programme online.
The online training programme of 60 days was meant for the students of B.Com, B.Com Honors, BBA and BA session 2019-20 and was divided into groups of 30 students each.
