NHPC Dulhasti Power Station observes Fire Service Week

Jammu, Apr 22: NHPC Dulhasti Power Station observed Fire Service Week from 14 April to 21 April 2021. Fire and Safety Department organised a special fire fighting mock drill on 22 April 2021 in the administrative building office premises of Dulhasti Power Station. During the mock drill, employees and officers were informed about the various fire and safety equipments through live demonstration by the employees of the Fire and Safety Department under the guidance of Shri Bidya Dhar Mohrana, Deputy General Manager (Electrical) and Shri Jagrup Kumar, Senior Manager (Electrical). Further, employees were also informed about the types of fire and firefighting equipment used in putting out the various fires.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Nirmal Singh, General Manager (In-charge), Dulhasti Power Station praised the efforts of Fire and Safety Department for making the employees aware through the fire fighting exercise. He called upon everyone to be alert and safe from fire incidence in their offices and homes.
On this occasion, Shri R.N. Sharma, General Manager (Civil), Shri Surendra Kumar Mishra, General Manager (Electrical), Shri G.C. Sinha, Deputy General Manager (Electrical), Shri Vidya Nand Das, Deputy General Manager (IT), Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, Senior Manager (Finance), Shri Ashok Kumar Dhanwal, Senior Manager (HR), Shri Davinder Koundel, Senior Manager (HR) and other senior officers and employees were also present.
