Progress of infrastructure projects reviewed by Managing Director JPDCL

JAMMU, Apr 29: Managing Director (MD), Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL), Er Gurmeet Singh, today convened a meeting of the concerned Superintending Engineers and Executive Engineers to review the progress of works related to Erection of Additional Infrastructure under DDUGJY-Replacement of Barbed Wire/Under sized conductor/Wooden Poles in Jammu Province and the other Works being taken up under summer preparedness action plan.
The MD said that the Barbed Wire project is a very prestigious project being closely monitored by the Government of India and its speedy progress is very important for general welfare of the public of Jammu Province. He further stressed on the need to expedite all the ongoing works related to summer preparedness in order to make sure that the public of Jammu Province does not suffer during the forthcoming extreme summer.
Maintaining consonance with Covid appropriate behaviour and adoption of all the mandated SOPs was stressed upon all the participants during the meeting by MD JPDCL. It was apprised to all the participants that as per directive of the Ministry of Power GOI all the employees of JPDCL shall have to be vaccinated against Covid-19 by 15th May, 2021 and necessary steps should be under taken in this regard on priority.
The meeting ended with reassurance by all the concerned staff to work for achievement of the above objectives.
