Kishtwar, Apr 29: In a glaring example of open loot of state exchequer, HR worker working in Jal Shakti Department is being felicitated through the official nexus by way of releasing of his wages despite the fact that the said temporary employee is working in a private firm at Himachal Pradesh.
As per the details available with Early Times, the HR worker in question is working in Bhunzwah area of Kishtwar District falling under the administrative control of Jal Shakti department Kishtwar and had returned only few days ago from Himachal Pradesh following fear of lockdown.
Sources told the Early Times that the HR worker had outsourced his job to his wife while at the same time is himself work at a private firm at Himachal Pradesh— hundreds of kilometres from his original place of posting. The whistleblower told the Early Times that despite several complaints lodged with the concern authorities, no action has been initiated against the employee who is withdrawing the honorarium regularly from state exchequer.
When Early Times approached the concerned JE for his comment, the JE instead of giving responsible answer to the question share the scribe number with the brother of HR worker in question who tried to threaten the Early Times correspondent of dire consequences. On verification it was found that the said caller was a retired supervisor of the Jal Shakti department who uses his good influence in the department to felicitate the release of the honorarium in favour of his brother working away from home in neighbouring Himachal Pradesh.
Executive Engineer Jal Shakti department Kishtwar and concern AEE assured to look into matter. Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar also assured to look into the matter.
