Expedite vaccination drive for 18-45 age group: NMC

Jammu, May 21: National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) President Subash Shastri today appealed Prime Minister to expedite vaccination drive for 18-45 age group as the second wave of Covid-19 probably affecting that age group. Hailing the vaccination drive conducted for above 45 age group and Jammu becoming the first district in Jammu Kashmir to vaccinate majority of population of 45 plus age group , Shastri emphasized upon replicating the same for 18-45 age group as soon as possible .
Highlighting the day night hardwork of Corona warriors, he appealed to the general public to kindly cooperate with them and demanded a special package for corona warriors, daily rated workers, business community, Police personnels, bank employees, transporters and all those who are finding it difficult to earn for their living due to lockdown.
Shastri interacting with media persons further adding that Vaccine is the only Panacea to get rid of this pandemic, he pleaded to general public to get vaccinated, follow the SOP’S of administration and don’t rush the areas from 6 am to 10 am.
He urged that we should support the Prime Minister and administration in battling this pandemic and let’s not politicise the ongoing crisis and quoted the adage “United We Stand , Divide We Fall”.
