EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, May 21: Thathri Development Front (TDF) has appealed to the MoS in Prime Minister’s Office, and the Lt Governor of J&K UT, Manoj Sinha to develop the natural tourist spots of Sub-Division Thathri. TDF president Kuldeep Kumar Rao in a press release issued said that Sub-Division Thathri, having now 5 Tehsils, has been totally ignored as regards to the tourism sector. He said that the natural beautiful tourist spots like Jantron Dhar, Mata Rashwar Temple and Lamote Dhar in Sub-Division Thathri can easily be developed as tourist attraction spots which will create economic revolution for Jammu & Kashmir. Rao also demanded widening & black topping of roads from Kanchiya to Joura Khurd; Punaja to Chiralla-Sunarthava road; Punaja to Bhallara road and Thathri to Jangalwar-Chirra road immediately. He also appealed to the Lt. Governor and also to Dr Jitendra Singh to connect Joura Khurd road with Chirrala-Panshee road so that the tourists can enjoy these natural beautiful tourist spots of Sub-Division Thathri. Rao has also expressed great shock and anguish over the neglect of Lambi Jayee of Bhaderwah Constituency in District Doda, a most mesmerizing natural scenic spot which, if exploited, can become a most attractive spot for the tourists.
