EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, May 21: Rehari Police today arrested the owner and other staff of M/S Jainco Motors Rehari for defying lockdown restrictions.
According to Police sources, during random checking, a Police team from Police Post Rehari along with SHO Pacca Danga visited automobile showroom, M/s Jainco Motors, situated on BC Road Rehari.
“When Police team entered the showroom, owner of Showroom Pratik Jain along with other staff members was present inside and was doing some paper works”, sources said, adding that all the persons were booked for violating lockdown restrictions.
“A case under section 188 IPC was registered against all the persons, after their bail, they were freed by Police”, sources said.
Meanwhile, it has been learnt from the reliable sources that M/s Jainco Motors has sold sold bikes during the lockdown period.
“Many bikes sold out during lockdown period got registered by RTO office Jammu.
DC Jammu should cross check, these allegations, whether the bikes sold /registered by RTO were true or false”, sources said.
Moreover, it is also a hundred dollars questions, why the RTO Jammu, is issuing temporary number/registrations, during pandemic and restrictions ordered by the district magistrate.
“It means RTO Jammu has hands in glove with automobile owners”, they said.
