Jammu, May 29: People’s Front Jammu today started sanitary napkins distribution campaign in Jammu on International Menstrual Hygiene Week. Deepak Gupta (leader, PFJ) said that we are going to distribute 1000 sanitary napkins to avoid this issue as a taboo.
Monica Jamwal (social activist), Pallavi Kumari, Antra Pandit , Environmentalist Riya Gupta, psychologist Mayuri Pandit were amongst the prominent who were present. Monica Jamwal addressed and asked girls and women to not ignore their hygiene and use clean sanitary napkins.
Pallavi said that this campaign will touch every ignored basti and where the ignorance to this Menstrual Hygiene is there. Programme was organised and coordinated by Vidash Dalmotra, Sahil Boxer, Sugam Andotra and Sparsh Gupta. |
