| Ensure max participation in updation of electoral process: Mahajan to migrants | | |

JAMMU, June 26: Appealing all Kashmiri migrants of Jammu and those who are scattered all over India to come out enmass to ensure maximum participation in updating of their photograph/image and other electoral process of district wise enrolment, inclusion of soul member, correction of name, missing photograph/ image uploading in the EPIC/voter identity card of migrant voters with removal of all other deficiencies in the new updated electoral and voter list records. We are appreciating the initiative taken by migrants election department for organizing a camp with deputing special team of district election officer at migrant election office of Shankar building Jammu to facilitate electoral process of migrants voters.
Meanwhile election deptt has announced updation of electoral process for Baramulla district starting from 23.6.2021 to 29.6.2021 whereas detail voters list required to be revised immediately at the earliest before the coming elections so that the maximum/100% participation of all migrants can choose their representatives. demanded to election department for extension of date from 30th June 2021 so that eligible voter may not be deprived of his franchise to avoid any inconvenience in future whereas such period does not suffice their purpose and hence it is their dire request to please extend the date upto 15 days so that public grievances may be redressed at grass root level. Also to ensure that maximum participation should be in remaining and upcoming district wise updation and other electoral process.
