4 Sarpanches, Govt teacher booked for protesting during visit of LG advisor’s visit to Bhaderwah

Kishtwar, June 26: At least four Sarpanches and a government teacher were among several people booked by Bhaderwah Police in Doda District after they held a protest and blocked the road for demanding the road for their villages during the visit of Farooq Ahmed Khan, Advisor to LG Manoj Sinha.
As per the details, Police Station Bhaderwah on Friday 25th June Registered a Case FIR NO. 118/2021 U/S 188 IPC,51 DM Act 2005 R/W Sec-3 Epidemic Disease Act 1997 Against Sajid Mir Sarpanch Kulshari, Majid Khan Son Of Gulam Hassan Khan Resident Of Amera Nagar, Anchal Singh Son Of Parmalina Singh Resident Of Kulshari, Kuldeep Kumar Son Of Bakshi Ram Resident Of Lamout Daranga (Teacher by Profession), Firdous Ahmed Butt Resident Of Kulshari, Raju Sarpanch Sungli, Yasir Sarpanch Nalthi, Ayaz Khan, Sarpanch Dandi and others for blocking Road at Kulshari near Petrol Pump in the outskirts of Bhaderwah at the time when advisor to Lt Governor Farooq Khan was on way to Bhaderwah on official Visit to settle some public issues. The FIR stated that, “There by Acts and Omissions on the Part of these blockers Violating Covid 19 Restrictions Imposed By DM Doda” adding that investigations of the case has been taken Up.
The angry protesters also stopped the visiting advisor who on knowing about the issue invited the people to Bhaderwah for deliberation over the issue, but the angry protesters didn’t give much ear to him and goes ahead with its protest.
