| GDC Thannamandi conduct parent teacher meet on virtual mode | | |

Jammu, Jul 1: IQAC cell of GDC Thannamandi organized parent-teacher meet on virtual mode. The meet was organized under the guidance of principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Javaid Ahmed Qazi, and coordinated by Prof. Raheela Mushtaq, convener IQAC.
The meet was conducted to interact with parents who are the stakeholders of the college. The meeting was attended by all the staff members and a good number of parents who spared their valuable time to interact with the teachers.
The formal welcome address was given by Prof. Raheela Mushtaq, convener, IQAC and the proceedings were carried out by Dr.Khalid Rayaz, HOD Geography. Prof. (Dr.) Javaid Ahmed Qazi, Principal of the college in his address to the stakeholders explained the efforts made by the college faculty towards the academic as well as the personality development of the students during the period of crises.
He also emphasized on the proper maintenance of the precautions during this period and urged the parents to take care of themselves and their wards during this time of covid.
He further added that the parents must be vigilant about their wards regarding online class work and advised the students to work hard for achieving their aim of life. Parents interacted with the teachers and were satisfied with the performance of the college in this period of crises and also lauded the efforts of the faculty. The formal vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Mudassar Majeed, HOD Islamic studies.
