Raman Wazir installed as new president Rotary Club Jammu

Jammu, July 2: The 61st Installation Ceremony of the new President and office bearer for the year 2021-22 of Rotary Club Jammu Tawi under Rotary International district 3070 was held today at Zone Park Jammu, strictly adhering to social distancing and other covid-19 Norms.
The District Governor Elect Dr. Dushyant Chaudhary was the chief guest while Rtn Meena Jamwal Assistant Governor and Rtn Ashish Langer DRCC presided over the function.
Rtn. Raman Wazir was installed as the President while Rtn. Ramnik Singh as the Secretary of the club for the year 2021-22.
Past President Rtn. VK Mehra welcomed the august gathering and congratulated the new team. Annual report was read by Rtn Aseem Tandon showcasing all the activities done during the year 2020-21. Various awards from the District were also formally presented to the club.
The incoming President Rtn. Raman while announcing his team of office bearers briefed on his vision for the year 2021-22 and encouraged club members to support and join him in his endeavor to work for the community He also informed the gathering that it was a proud moment for everybody as one of the member of Jammu Tawi Club, Dr Dushyant Chaudhary will be taking over the reign of Governor for the year 2022-23.
Rtn Balraj singh introduced new members inducted in the Club who were formally pinned by the chief Guest. Speaking on the occasion DGE Dushyant Chaudhary congratulated the new team for stepping up to continue serving esteemed rotary club Jammu Tawi for the year 2021-22. He said that all Rotarian should join together to find ways to serve Rotary and society as Rotary has given an opportunity to give back to society what it has given us.
The function concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by club Executive secretary Rtn. Parveen Singh. The whole function was anchored by Rtn Raman Sherpuri.
