Various Sikh organizations condemn murderous assault on Adv Surinder Kour

JAMMU, Aug 20: An emergency meeting of various Sikh organizations J&K held under the chairmanship of Mohinder Singh, Chief Organizer Bhai Kanaya Nishkam Sewa Society J&K and ex-member District Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee Jammu.
In the meeting all the members strongly condemned the brutal murderous assault on senior Advocate Surinder Kour last night by some unidentified persons. Members have appealed to the Chief Justice to take up the matter with the Director General of Police to enquire into the ugly incident and also requested to provide security to the Advocates. All the members with one voice condemned this brutal act in strongest words and requested the Police authorities to constitute SIT to nab the culprits and punish them under stringent laws at the earliest so that in future nobody dares to repeat the same act again.
All the members also expressed concern that Advocates who always stand for the cause of unheard society must be taken care of in all respects. Members prayed for the speedy recovery of the senior Advocate and also requested all the authorities to provide all kinds of assistance and necessary help to her along with specialized treatment.
