JAMMU, Aug 30: A national CME cum workshop and training on new clinical trial rule 2019, Good Clinical Practices and IEC shall be conducted by Indian society for rational therapeutics- J&K under aegis of ISRPT in collaboration with ASCOMS & hospital, sidhra Jammu, with the help of Department of Pharmacology GMC Jammu.
Dr Shashi Sudhan Sharma (PMC/Dean GMC, Jammu) shall be the chief Guest of the said function. More than 400 offline and Online delegates and esteemed faculty of national and International repute has registered in the said event. In addition offline mode have been created at ASCOM, Jammu, NMC Hall GMC Jammu, IIT Jammu, GMC Rajouri, GMC Kathua and one at Department of Pharmacology, GMC Jammu to accommodate more offline delegates following all sops of COVID. Dr Pavan Malhotra Director Principal ASCOMS, Jammu-organising chairperson, said CME said that New Drugs and Clinical Trials (NDCT) Rules, 2019 are now Regulating conduct of clinical Trial on new drugs, investigational new drugs for human use, bioequivalence study, bioavailability study and also regulate the formation of mandatory provision of Ethics Committee as per its requirement. He said every researcher should be well versed with these rules and such CMEs will prove very useful for one and all.
