Rafiq Malik seeks fair justice to former Sarpanch Thakur Prem Singh

Jammu, Sept 9: Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) J&KUT President Rafiq Malik demanded justice for Thakur Prem Singh a resident of Thalkote Tehsil Chassana, District Reasi who is facing arrest under 376. Addressing media persons, Malik said that his party is not against police action in this regard and if he is proved guilty, he should be punished as per law and if he has been made scapegoat ,then the thorough nd detailed investigation should be inducted in this regard. He said local public in the area is with him and they have strongly resented the Police action against Singh claiming his innocence. He asked the concerned authorities to also listen to locals as they continue protest, any untoward incident may take place. Malik further said that Thakur Prem Singh is a well known political figure in the area as he is former Sarpanch and presently his wife is serving as Sarpanch. He has also contested MLA election securing 5600 votes and recently in DDC election, he got 5600 votes. In this regard he demanded fair justice for Thakur Prem Singh and further action only on basis of strong evidence lest nobody should by harassed and exploited without any fault. He asked concerned authorities to conduct in-depth investigation in this case to reach at logical conclusion.
