Naib Sarpanch, his brother booked for manhandling Jal Shakti employees

Kishtwar, Sept 9: On the bases of the complaint filled by the employees of the Jal Shakti department Kishtwar posted in Dachhan Tehsil of the District, Dachhan police booked Naib Sarpanch and his brother for allegedly manhandling and use of harsh and abusive language against the employees of the department.
As per the details available with Early Times, Police register an FIR No 21/2021.
US 353' 504'323 and 341 IPC at Police Station Dachhan against Asif Hussain Shah son of Said-ul-Shah who happened to be the Naib Sarpanch and his brother Kaship Hussain both residents of Suied Dachhan after they restrained the path of employees of Jal Shakti Department while they were returning from the duty from Lopara and Bhatpura Dachhan via Suied.
Speaking to Early Times, the junior Engineer of the Jal Shakti department while confirming the incident said that the employees are being threaten and manhandled by the Naib Sarpanch and his brother after the department launched a drive against removal of illegal water connections.
He said that earlier some people also lockdown some of their employees, but with the intervention of some locals they were set free added that later after tendering the apology by the accused- the department decided not to file any complaint at that time.
He said that the latest incident has resulted into great resentment among the employees of the department who wanted to work in fear and fear atmosphere and termed the action of Naib Sarpanch and his brother as “hooliganism” and called upon the senior officials of the administration and police to look into the matter so that such things could not be repeated in the future.
The department officials reveals the name of employees Mohammad Amin Sirwal & Mushtaq Ahmed who were manhandled and abused by the accused person along with the junior Engineer posted in the area.
