| Students to get admission without late fee at Hiranagar College till Sept 15: DDC member | | |

HIRANAGAR, Sept 9: Abhinandan Sharma, member of District Development Council, Hiranagar, has brought a big relief for the students of Girdhari Lal Dogra Degree College, Hiranagar, Kathua who are facing acute hardships while getting admission in the college for the past several days. Sharma today met Vice Chancellor of Jammu University and apprised him of the issues being faced by the students. He said that due to negligence of college administration, the students had to suffer and deposited a late fee of about three thousand rupees for admission which is too much for poor and destitute students.
The DDC member said that the Vice Chancellor of the University, justifying the problem of students, has ordered to refund the late fee paid by the students and the students of Kathua district will be able to get admission in the Degree College Hiranagar without any late fee till September 15.
Abhinandan expressed gratitude to the Vice Chancellor of the University for considering the genuine demands of students. |
