JAMMU, Sept 9: The Institution of Engineers (India), Jammu Centre celebrated Royal Charter Day at Institutional Complex, Channi Himmat through limited participation and virtual mode. Er. Hamesh Manchanda, Chief Engineer, Jal Shakti (I&FC) Department, Jammu was the Guest of Honour on this occasion. The seminar was attended by Engineers from various Departments, Organizations and Senior Engineers.
At the outset, Dr. Sanjay Khar, Chairman, IEI Jammu Centre presented welcome address on this occasion. Er. Anil Verma, Former Hony. Secretary of IEI, Jammu Centre delivered a talk on the History & Relevance of Royal Charter Day under the annals of the Institution. Later, a Technical seminar on the topics “History of Ranbir Canal” & “Development Scenario of Jammu” was also held. Er. Vinod Malhotra, Former Development Commissioner, Town Planning, Jammu delivered presentation on History of Ranbir Canal & Er. P. K. Nanda, Former Hony.
Secretary, IEI Jammu Centre delivered a presentation on Development Scenario of Jammu. He also advocated to have proper sustainable development of the law making agencies should implement the laws framed in a disciplined way. |
