POONCH, Oct 18: The condition of all health centers in health block Mandi is shambles and many centers are in dilapidated condition due to alleged negligence of BMO and CMO. Although government has claimed for better health facilities in rural areas for which schemes like National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) are introduced, but these schemes are looking limited up to papers, whereas all influencial employees under NHM and other schemes are attached at their favourite places. Sources from Mandi have informed our correspondent that, health centers are non-functional in various rural areas and patients took visit to SDH Mandi for treatment but get disappointed as all important doctors are attached at DH Poonch. Child specialist is attached, surgeons, some other specialists are still nowhere in SDH Mandi, but authorities are looking unaware. Chief Medical Officer in this regard has earlier said that, many doctors have been attached by unknown reasons and has assured for redressal of the matter. Block Medical Officer Mandi in this regard has said that there are many complaints in this matter, and she has put this matter to concern higher authorities, also to District Development Council for redressal and assured for early redressal of the issue. |
