JKMEF delegation calls on Addl CS, projects various issues

JAMMU, Dec 7: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) Jammu under the chairmanship of Sheikh Mehraj-ud-din and presidentship of Sushil Sudan, State President JKMEF, Jammu called on Additional Chief Secretary to Govt Finance Department, Atal Dullo today in his office chamber at Civil Secretariat, Jammu.
In the meeting, Sushil Sudan, President of JKMEF Jammu requested to bring amendment in SRO 20 which is lying pending in civil Secretariat for the last more than 30 years and may be amended speedily.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Govt on 06-08-2021 accepted JKMEF demands of Departmental Promotion Committee (Promotions) of all non-gazetted health employees at Srinagar and promised to conduct it within 15 days but now after the lapse of 4 months nothing has been done so far the health employees suffering a lot.
The Additional Chief Secretary to Govt Finance Department, Atal Dullo gave patient hearing to the deputation and assured that we have already approved their SRO-20 file by the constitutional committee regarding Issuance of fresh recruitment rules and convey the same to Health & Family Welfare Department for further necessary action. Further, JKMEF requested Additional Chief Secretary Health & Medical Education Department UT of Jammu & Kashmir Vivek Bhardwaj to look into the above mentioned demands of Non-Gazetted employees of Health & Family Welfare Department and pass the directions to both the Directors of Health Department Jammu/Kashmir to kindly fix a fresh date for DPC in a time bound manner otherwise the employees will be forced take drastic steps.
Others who attend the meeting included Parfulat Singh, Jarnail Singh, Kameljeet Sewhney, Jaswinder Singh, Pawan Singh Jamwal, Shafket Hussain and Bharat Bhushan Bhagat.
