| Weeklong Annual Winter special NSS Camp on CAB concludes | | |

UDHAMPUR, Jan 4: The weeklong Annual Winter Special Camp on the theme CAB for COVID-19 and Orientation about upcoming OMICRON variant concluded at Government College for Women (GCW) Udhampur here today.
The Camp was organized by National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of GCW Udhampur.
Principal of the College, Prof. Minu Mahajan was the chief guest on the occasion.
In her address, Prof. Minu Mahajan lauded the efforts of the NSS Unit to spread awareness about Corona Virus among the youth as well as the general public. She added that such events in the premises play vital role in inculcating a sense of fighting Corona virus. She urged the NSS Unit to organize such more camps in the near future also. She also advised the participants to follow all the guidelines issued by Government of India from time to time. Earlier, HoD Philosophy (NSS Programme Officer) Prof. Sanjay Kumar highlighted the various activities carried out during the weeklong camp and stressed upon the volunteers to adopt COVID appropriate behaviour to break the transmission chain. On the occasion, a colorful cultural programmes was also presented by the NSS Volunteers which was highly appreciated by one and all. Among other, Senior faculty members and large numbers of volunteers were also present in the camp. |
