DC Jammu reviews progress of works under B2V3, District Capex Budget 2021-22

JAMMU, Jan 4: Deputy Commissioner Anshul Garg today reviewed the progress of works proposed under B2V3 and District Capex Budget including DDC, BDC, PRI components.
The concerned official apprised the Chair that there are total 486 works under Back to Village-lll out of which 453 works are approved under RDD.
The Deputy Commissioner was informed that out of 486 works, 451 have been approved, 444 tendered, 289 allotted, 251 started, 153 completed and 98 works are in progress.
Deputy Commissioner was further informed that there are total 4468 works under the District Capex Budget 2021-22 in respect with Jammu district out of which 201 works are under UT component including NABARD, 207 under DDC plan, 201 works under BDC plan and 3860 under PRI plan.
The Deputy Commissioner was further informed that tenders of 3596 works under PRI plan, 172 works under DDC plan and 162 works under BDC plan and 189 under UT component have already been floated.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC stressed on the concerned authorities to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace of various ongoing works on different projects for their time-bound completion.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the officers to focus on allotting the works following their execution and completion without any delay.
The Deputy Commissioner exhorted for mobilizing men and machinery for completing the projects in stipulated time frame besides urged to ensure productive and fruitful utilization of the available resources.
ACD Ashok Choudhary, CPO Yoginder Katoch, SDMs, Tehsildars, BDOs besides senior officers were present in the meeting.
