| Madan Lal Sharma Charitable Trust holds monthly meeting | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 7: Monthly meeting of Madan Lal Sharma Charitable Trust was held at village Pangali of Khour. The meeting was chaired by chairperson of the trust Satish Sharma. The meeting was in continuation of the monthly meetings through which trust focuses on providing financial assistance to widowed women and to provide sports material to the youth.
Hundreds of people joined the meeting despite heavy rainfall. Speaking on the occasion different speakers shared their views about the social welfare works undertaken by the trust and also memorized the works that Madan used to do. Prem Singh said that Satish is working on the path of social welfare which was his late father Madan 's dream.
Vikram Singh said that the people of khour are heartedly supporting Satish and they will elect him as next MLA of Khour so that the social welfare works could be taken up on bigger level. President J&K Youth Congress Uday Bhanu Chib said that he is amazed by seeing how much people love Satish. He said that Satish is one of the most hardworking leaders of Congress and is always ready to help the people.
Satish said that his family is indebted by the goodwill of people of Khour area. Neither me nor my upcoming generation will be able to bear off this debt. The social welfare works being done by the trust are my duty. Whatever we are today it is because of you people. These works are just a small attempt to payback. He said that the trust will continue helping the people and it is our collective responsibility to stand with the needy people of our area. |
