Early Times Report

Rajouri, Jan 7: Frontier village on Kalal along the Line of Control in Nowshera subdivision in Rajouri District has no mobile network and internet connectivity.
Sarpanch Ramesh Chaudhary while talking to Early Times said that two years back Jio company installed a tower but still it is unable to provide network connectivity to the area. “The resident of this village are very unlucky.
Many of them have migrated other places for the sake of career of their children as they were unable to attend the online classes.”
He said, “We are feeling very helpless and hopeless as all our demands have fallen on deaf ears.
Former administrators did nothing to address concerns of the village Kalal.” “On the one hand the neighbouring country keeps shelling the border village and on the other hand people are forced to migrate due to unavailability of the basic network facility,” he added.
Villagers said that the time will come when only the old people will be seen in this village as youngsters don’t have any facility here.
A deputation from the village recently met Vikas Kundal, the new Deputy Commissioner Rajouri and submitted a memorandum related to network issue. The Deputy Commissioner assured them that the problem will be solved soon.
