| Poonch Police felicitates medal winners of Sikh Asian Taekwondo championship | | |  Early Times Report
POONCH, Jan 7: Taekwondo players who won medals at Sikh Asian Taekwondo championship held at Delhi were felicitated by SSP Poonch Rohit Baskotra here today.
12 players including eight boys and four girls took part in the Sikh Asain Taekwondo championship held at Delhi and was organized by Sikh Games federation of India.
The Poonch players displayed excellent performance in this event and won four silver and two bronze medals in this event with players from Iraq and Nepal also taking part in the event. Speaking on the occasion SSP Poonch congratulated all the medals winners and their coach S. Rajinder Singh.
The SSP advised players to participate in sports and not involve in any drug related activity.
He assured every possible help for the development of Taekwondo in the border district of Poonch.
Rajinder Singh, NSNIS Taekwondo coach from DYSS also congratulated all the medal winners and their families.
He requested UT administration to provide proper infrastructure to the Taekwondo players. |
