RAMNAGAR, Jan 12: Under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, NSS Unit of Govt Degree College Ramnagar organized a seminar on the teachings of Swami Vivekananda under the patronship of Dr Udhey Bhanu, Principal GDC Ramnagar and guidance of Prof Ritika Mahajan, NSS Program Officer GDC Ramnagar to mark the celebration of birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda which is observed as National Youth Day all over India.
The seminar was conducted through online platform. Principal GDC Ramnagar Dr Udhey Bhanu, welcomed the gathering and urged the students to inculcate the positive thoughts and ideas proposed by Swami Vivekanand ji for successful living. NSS volunteers of the college participated in the seminar with great interest and enthusiasm. NSS Volunteers namely Renu Sharma, Sunidhi Mahajan, Simran Sharma, Ridhi Dogra, Rakesh Sharma, Poonam Jamwal, Pritam Kumar and Tania participated in the seminar. The students and volunteers discussed the ideology of Swami ji , they also discussed the life and struggle of Swami Ji to acquire supreme knowledge and contentment in his life. Swami ji represented India all over the world with his ideas and true spiritual attainment. The entire program was hosted by Kavita Sharma, NSS Volunteer. NSS PO of the college Prof Ritika Mahajan, urged the students to acquire the ideas of swami ji in your lives and attain self realization.
Prof Suresh Kumar Dogra, HOD Physics and senior faculty member and Prof Brinder Kumar, HOD Zoology and IQAC convener were also present and felicitated the program. |
