| Theft case solved by Rajouri police, Rs 1,54000 stolen cash recovered | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Jan 13: Jammu and Kashmir police in Rajouri has solved a case of theft within six days recovering Rs 1,54,000 of stolen money from the possession of accused. Senior Superintendent of Police Rajouri, Mohammad Aslam said that a case was registered in FIR 10/2022 under sections 457/380 IPC in police station Rajouri after an incident of theft took place in a bar / wine shop located at Jawahar Nagar in the intervening night of 06th - 07th of January. A team headed by SHO Rajouri, Fareed Ahmed started investigation into the matter and zeroed-in on some suspects during which a suspect namely Zaheer Abbas @Billa son of Mohammad Latief resident of Dagani Nowshera was detained who during questioning confessed for the crime. Accused is involved in several other cases of thefts and stated to have break open the lock of Bar / Wine shop in the intervening night of January 06-07 and stole cash lying there. Police said that further investigation into the matter is going on. |
