| DC denies justice, says he is not competent to help | | | Rajesh Tandon

POONCH, Jan 13: Instead of marking of an application to his subordinate for investigation of the matter Deputy Commissioner Poonch has ‘deceived’ applicant by saying “this matter pertains to Panchayat, I'm incompetent into the matter”.
Sources said that a slide has already hit the residential house of one Ghulam Nabi and his son approached to Deputy Commissioner Poonch with a plea 'to provide safer place to helpless family' deputy instead of marking application to his subordinate i e., concerned Tehsildar has blindly denied the applicant by saying this matter pertain to Panchayat. Reportedly, Nabi has no land to construct his house where his house has turned uninhabitable who appealed to administration for replacement of land from his land to state land and allot him a piece of land at safer place. Nabi said that he is poor and not able to buy land to construct residential house, so he want to exchange his ownership land for house only, but deputy commissioner has denied his application.
He has appealed Lieutenant Governor to intervene into the matter and direct Poonch administration to exchange his land for his residential house. |
