Dogra Edu Trust raises serious concerns of people of Bari Brahmana

JAMMU, Jan 13: In view of the various serious problems being faced by the people of Bari Brahmana town today a combined meeting of Dogra Educational Trust and the elected ward members of Bari Brahmana Municipal Committee was held in the premises of Dogra Educational Complex Bari Brahamana in the presence of Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister and Chairman Dogra Educational Trust.
Secretary Dogra Educational Trust, Kunwar Samar Dev Singh Charak started the meeting by welcoming the members. The agenda of the meeting was to exchange ideas and generate a common consensus on the major issues like spreading awareness about COVID appropriate behaviour among the masses, traffic commotion in main traffic crossing spots, sewage/drainage issues, proper desilting of the irrigation canals and development of playgrounds. The meeting was attended by the newly elected chairman of the Municipal Committee Bari Brahmana Capt. Bachan Lal and other Councillors.
Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, former Minister and Chairman Dogra Educational Trust while interacting with members shared the initiatives taken by Dogra Educational Trust wherein under the banner of Dogra Sahayata Kendra undertook many social outreach activities like distribution of mask, sanitizers, pamphlets exhibiting helpline numbers free ambulance services and free transportation to the COVID warriors to provide relief in the time of covid-19 pandemic.
Open discussion on the agenda of traffic commotion in the Bari Brahmana Chowk main market Bari Brahmana, Sabji Mandi Area led to the revealing of the fact that people are parking their vehicles on the main road in the absence of parking space. Capt. Bachan Lal apprised the members that an area of 2 Kanals has been spotted for developing parking space.
