JAMMU, Jan 19: Gurmeet Singh President Beopar Mandal & Distt General Secretary Congress criticized the BJP Govt. for the plight of a common poor man and unemployed youth as well as the sufferings of different sections of the society and said that Congress would continue to highlight the problems of the people.
Speaking the Gurmeet Singh said the Govt. pay 6000 rupees/month to every poor family, small shopkeepers, Rehri - farhi and unemployed so that they can drive their families.
In the protest, it was highlighted that only BPL Ration holder Families are getting Ration @ Rs. 2.50 PER KG but getting LPG Gas Cylinder @ Rs. 951 n which is not at all tolerable by the poor people and beyond the capacity of purchasing the cylinder at a very high rate and vegetables double rates. Speaking on the occasion Gurmeet Singh Distt. General Sect. Congress stresses the BJP Govt. to issue LPG cylinder FREE OF COST to the BPL and poor families so that they may be able to pull on their daily lives peacefully.
It is also added that the poor peoples should get kerosene oil as was an earlier issue to them it is not known why it has been stopped by the BJP Govt it is strongly stress that the kerosene oil be issued on regular basis to the poor families.
Gurmeet Singh Distt General Secretary Congress & President Beopar Mandal strongly attacked the BJP Govt at center for the incessant price hike of essential commodities including LPG cylinders and continued hike in price of petrol and diesel making life miserable for all sections of societies in the county. The comparison of price hike in the BJP Govt has furnished below :-

Gurmeet Singh District General Secretary Congress & President Beopar Mandal has said that Modi Govt. has imposed heavy taxes on the people, as its economic policies have been a total failure leading to worst ever economic situation and lowest ever growth of the Country leading to an unprecedented price rise of all commodities.
Gurmeet Singh Addressing largely attended Congress protesters at Jammu east, against price rise, rising unemployment today lashed out at Centre Govt. for the unprecedented price hike and record unemployment besides failing to address the grievances of people of J&K on every count after promising massive development post-August 5, 2019. he said that the developmental process started by UPA in J&K received a major setback, as the NDA Govt. failed to carry forward the massive developments started by UPA.
Gurmeet Singh District General Secretary Congress said that People are feeling harassed by tax terror and unprecedented price hike, at the same time, they realize that BJP Govt. is looting them to recover the losses it has done to the Country economy by misrule and mismanagement of things since the day one, as a result, there is a restlessness across the country. Every section of the society including youth, students, employees are up in arms due to wrong policies of BJP and this is the reason Congress party under the leadership of Smt. Sonia Gandhi and Shri Rahul Gandhi has launched nationwide agitation against the wrong policies of the BJP led NDA Govt. at the Centre.he said that our dynamic leader Rahul Gandhi is fearlessly fighting for the cause of every Indian against the oppressive policies of the Modi Govt. and the entire Congress cadre is solidly behind the Congress leadership.
