| Dilapidated road irks Hajin residents | | |

SRINAGAR, Jan 19: Residents of Hajin in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district have voiced concern and lodged strong protest against the dilapidated condition of the roads in the entire Hajin area.
A group of residents while giving vent to their anger said that all the roads connecting Hajin are in total mess and no step whatsoever has been taken to improve the condition of the roads. They said that Hajin-Sumbal, Hajin-Sopore and other roads present a picture of absolute neglect with the authorities being unmoved.
The common people along with the transporters said that they are up against huge problems due to the messy state of affairs on account of bad condition of roads. The transporters said that they face economic losses since their vehicles wear out on frequent basis and the vehicles are lying in the workshops on regular basis. |
