JAMMU, Jan 19: Provincial President, Apni Party, Manjit Singh has demanded postponement of J&K Services Selection Board (J&K-SSB) examination which is scheduled to be held in the ongoing covid19 pandemic situation in J&K.
While speaking at a meeting at Apni Party Office in Gandhi Nagar - Jammu, S. Manjit Singh said that the decision to hold examinations for various vacant posts by the J&K-SSB is beyond understanding as the situation is not conducive for the same.
"The decision to hold exams for vacant posts must be reviewed and accordingly be postponed in the interest of safety and security of the aspirants appearing in the scheduled exam," he said while criticizing the SSB for its casual approach towards the covid19 spike.
On a daily basis, he said, the covid positive cases are increasing every day in J&K and the Govt is advising people to avoid crowded places since the cases are coming from every nook and corner.
