LFO-BHF initiates "Become A Winter Soldier” campaign

JAMMU, Jan 25: "Become A Winter Soldier" is an initiative taken by Live For Others-Being Helpful Foundation (NGO) in which they distributed over hundreds of blankets and warm clothes among under privileged sections in different areas of Jammu.
LFO-BHF (NGO) takes up the challenge of providing for the helpless people during the harsh winters. Every winter calls for a blanket donation campaign from this young LFO-BHF NGO in which this NGO try to reach out to every possible person in need during winters and provide them with the warm comfort of a blanket.
On Tuesday, Volunteers of LFO-BH conducted blanket distribution drive from Shalamar to Railway Station, Jammu route in which they located people who were in desperate needs of warm clothes and blankets. During this blanket donation, volunteers also distributed face mask and made aware people to follow Covid Appropriate Behaviour as Covid-19 Virus is in its peak in entire J&K.
"A core value at LFO-BH (NGO) is giving back to those less fortunate. Now, more than ever, we must come together and support the communities that have been badly hurt by the medical and economic damage caused by the COVID-19 pandemic," said Vishal Singh, Director of LFO-BHF.
On speaking with Abhinandan Sharma, General Secretary of LFO-BHF said, "LFO-BHF believes we are stronger together and better. We believe in a world of equality and opportunity, for everyone".
While Dharminder Singh, V. President of LFO-BHF, said, "Our 'Share the Warmth' initiative will provide critical cold weather clothing and accessories to communities in dire need this holiday season.
Members who were present in this mega drive were Robin Singh, Jyoti, Vishal, Shabnam, Navya, Rubina, Iream, Illahi and many more.
