| Promote Mansar-Surinsar in line with tourist village network: TMF | | |

JAMMU, Feb 8: Chairman Team Mask Force (TMF) Vijay Sharma has appealed to LG Manoj Sinha to grant approval for inclusion of villages Mansar and Surinsar in line with tourist village network to promote the rural economy of these areas viz a viz providing employment opportunity to the youth of these areas. Under the initiative, the government aims to rejuvenate and transform more than 75 villages in the Union Territory by promoting tourism and giving sustainable employment for the youth. The initiative launched under the Mission Youth will work towards giving a facelift to already named as tourism potential spots and are already famous for their historical background, picturesque landscape and cultural importance. The inclusion of these areas in line with tourist village network is destined to promote home stays across these areas as most of the tourist spots lack visiting these places for want of readily available accommodations in these areas of Mansar and Surinsar, added Sharma. |
