| Dilapidated road just a head of Women College Gandhi Nagar exposes call claims of admin | | |

Jammu, Mar 6: Dilapidated portion of road near the Government College for Women Gandhi Nagar has exposed the tall claims of development which are rented by Administration. Although this is only a 50 meters long stretch which has been lying in bad condition for the last many months together.
The entire stretch has developed huge potholes due to which several accidents are reported. “This is a State Highway and it always remains busy all the time as thousands of vehicles pass through this small stretch but till date the concerned department as well as the administration has failed to take a look on it” , a passerby alleged.
The blacktopping has totally broken from this stretch and the concrete can be seen spread over this patch which has become deadly as the two wheelers get skidded off. Interestingly, the bureaucrats, politicians, pass through this stretch daily but they deliberately ignore the problem which can be validated from the fact that despite the lapse of months together nothing has been done to repair it.
An auto load carrier driver, who was passing through this road, informed that at many times loaded auto turn turtles here due to huge pits on this dilapidated road and load carriers receive severe damages. “We had to give a bank loan instalment but due to the condition of the road our vehicle also get damaged but administration seems to be in deep slumber,” he said.
