Early Times Report

SUCHETGARH, Mar 6: DDC Member Suchetgarh, Taranjit Singh Tony today held a grand meeting at border village Dablehar in Suchetgarh Constituency where in more than 2,000 prominent supporters of T.S Tony which comprised of 20 Sarpanchs of various Panchayats, Naib Sarpanchs and 100 panchs.
Addressing the meeting, the DDC member TS Tony slammed BJP for its evil designs of cubing the voice of Jats, Sikh, SCs, BCs and minorities through Delimitation Commission. He said that now the time has come to give a befitting reply to BJP Government at the Centre for its anti-people policies, highest unemployment rate in the country for the last seventy years, lowest ever GDP in the last seven years, highest inflation, highest fuel prices which has crossed 100 rupees mark.
The DDC member said that the BJP Government Centre has miserably failed to bring down the prices of petroleum products as a result of which the costs of essential commodities have reached an all time high. He said that despite knowing that hike in petrol, diesel prices has a direct impact on the prices of all commodities, the government seems to turn a blind eye to this significant issue and is maintaining a criminal silence. He asserted soon after the culmination of elections in five states the fuel prices will go up again.
Tony said Modi Govt has promised two crore jobs every year. He questioned where are these jobs? He said that the evil designs are again on by the BJP in J&K. He said that the BJP Government at the Centre is going to sell the power sector of J&K to private parties. He termed it as the hidden agenda of BJP for regularizing only 12,000 daily wagers of a particular department.
“All daily wagers serving in various government departments should be regularized instead of regularizing only 12,000 daily wagers of PDD only as what is the fault of other daily wagers working in other departments,” he said and asked “Why the Government has not confirmed their services as it is the hidden agenda of BJP to sell the power sector of J&K to private parties and result of that is very expensive power to the trouble torn J&K.
The DDC Member asserted that Abrogation of Art 370 has only brought miseries to the state and the J&K is yet to see the day of light in terms of development. All the slogans of BJP related to unprecedented development seems to be false and fake, he added.
Tony asked people to be vigilant of BJP as it has anti-poor, anti-farmer, anti-youth and anti-democracy polices in their kitty. BJP is all out to kill democracy at every level, he said, adding that it’s high time that all the opposition parties should get united and asked for ballot paper as EVM is always suspicious dubious and malicious functioning.
Tony asserted that all political parties should appeal before the Supreme Court and the Election Commission of India to decide it once for all to shift from EVM to Ballot to save the democracy for the welfare of people of the country.
Tony asserted that if Suchetgarh constituency will be reserved for SC category in near future than Sarpanch Chakroi, Sham Lal Bhagat will replace him in the upcoming elections. He appealed to all his supporters, who influence of more than 15000 votes, to support Sham Lal Bhagat as a SC candidate.
Sarpanch Sham Lal Bhagat, in his address, thanked Tony for his overwhelmed support and said that he will leave no stone unturned and will carry on the programme and policies of Mr Tony at grass root level.
He vowed to serve the people of Suchetgarh constituency with total judiciousness. He said that the whole SC community always indebted to Tony for his hardwork, development and upliftment of the weaker section of society especially SC/ BC will remain indebted to him.
Sham Lal Bhagat and other SC leaders said that they will support Tony from RS Pura Constituency for the forthcoming Assembly elections and ensured not even a single vote their communities will go to any other candidate then Mr TS Tony.
