J&K Speed Ball team flagged off for national championship

JAMMU, Mar 24: J&K Sports Speed Ball Association conducted a day long free sports seminar and see off function here at Crescent Public School, Janipur for the upcoming Open NationalSpeed Ball Championship 2022 to be held at Punjab from tomorrow till March 27. On this occasion, the chief guest of the event was Dr Bhavna Kaushal (Principal Crescent Public School). Tarun Uppal (President JSBA) and Guest Kanwarjeet Singh (Member JKSBA) were also present. The selection of the team is finalized under the guidelines of Sunny Nanda (General Secretary JKSSB and Chief Coordinator SPAA India).
This camp is based on the selection for the upcoming Open National Speed Ball Championship in which 30 players got the opportunity to take part in this camp and only 13 got a chance to represent the team of J&K. The name of the institution of the selected players are Dogra Hr Sec School, Jammu Sanskriti School, BSK Higher Secondary School Domana, Banyan International School, Shiksha Niketan Hr. Sec. School, Air Force School, Delhi Public School Nagbani, Birla Open Minds International School, SD Tarapuri High School, Crescent Public School, Lord Shiva Day School, International Delhi Public School, May Fair International School, B.N Public School, British International School, R M Public School, Sainik Cooperative Public School Takri, May Fair Hr Sec School Chand Nagar, Army Public School Udhampur and Crescent Sports Club. On the occasion, Tarun Uppal distributed speedball Kits Like T-shirts, Racket, Bottle & Caps among all the selected players. The players selected for nationals are Shivansh (BIS), Nirvaan Gupta (AFS), Harshit Choudhary (BIS), Atharva Gupta (DPS Jammu), Chetanya (BIS), Dhruv Choudhary (JSS), Yogany Jamwal (DPS Jammu), Gurman Singh (JSS), Ritesh Bakshi (BSK), Harshdeep Singh (BIS), Jaskaran Singh (JSS) and Amer Kushal (CPS).
