| Anti-ragging committee meeting held at Stephens College of Nursing | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 26: An anti-ragging committee meeting was held in Stephens College of Nursing. The preventive measures taken by the institution to curb the menace of ragging were spelt out by the members of anti-ragging committee and remedial measures which have to be taken were also discussed.
The anti-ragging committee already formulated SOP's for lodging of complaint in the event of any act of ragging which was further discussed. The anti-ragging committee constituted anti ragging squads for academic block and for hostels blocks. Manoj Kotru (Administrator) briefed about the preventive measures taken by the committee for the welfare of students.
A poster making competition was conducted to make the students aware and also encourage them. The posters depicted agony and consequences of ragging were also made by the students of the college which was appreciated by the committee. The police officials briefed about the provisions of various section under IPC which pertains to ragging. |
